This week, as soon as you open your eyes, name three things you are grateful for that day. This is the only practice you need to follow this week, but you must do it truthfully and never skip a day. Do it, even if you are not coming from a good place, at this point. The art of this practice is to bring forward the little positive aspects of life, and push back the negative aspects of life; contentment is the result. Your blessing could be the air you breathe, or the beauty of nature, even when you are living in a sea of darkness.
